I've spent the last three weeks assembling furniture in our home. It's been fun, there have been laughs...and tears...and some rage...and more than a little blood. But that's normal, right?However, for all the frustration inherent in building your own furniture. I want to just give the people who designed and built this abor...lovely piece of furniture a break. I built two of them and if I'd known then what I know now, I would have used them for kindling but I want to be clear I'm not casting aspersions on the designers or producers. I'm sure they're really hard workers who tried really hard to build a great piece of furniture. I'm sure they just wanted to build the best dresser they could and NEVER once said "The hell with it, that's good enough". I'm sure they never once looked at some completely asinine mistake or failure and said "Whatever. Who cares?"I'm sure they just forgot...I'm sure they forgot:- When they gave me one screwdriver that was a FLATHEAD when every screw in the ENTIRE box is a Philips...and the other box had a Philips screwdriver that, when you turned it, the handle rotated but the shaft DID NOT.- When they twice failed to include enough wooden dowels to put all of the drawers together. I counted...three times. On each dresser. I came up 7 dowels short on one and 5 on the other. I'm sure they just forgot to add the extras.- When they forgot to add 1 out of 4 screws (At random) to the runners that go along the edge of the drawers. I'm sure they just forgot that I might need any at all on at least two of them...- When they added a veneer so sub-par that I accidentally scratched it off with a finger nail. I'm sure they forgot that I might not want a 3 inch streak across the front of my dresser because I bumped it.- When they TWICE included dowel holes for the last drawer on the backpiece but NOT on the two side pieces (And yes, I removed those from my count of missing dowels in case it was some...magical...engineer thing).I'm sure they just forgot to make something worth...well hell. I wouldn't take one of these for free so I guess they forgot to make it worth anything at all.Do NOT purchase this item. You cannot possibly make a worse decision if you scroll to the bottom of 10 pages of randomly selected "Dressers" on Amazon and pick one at random. Don't do that to yourself.Great dresser! besides that broken piece that came with it but was able to get the replacement delivered last week!This is as advertised, deep drawers, pine finish, easy to assemble. It is sturdy all wood construction. Plywood drawer bottoms but it also includes a bottom brace on the drawer to add to the sturdyness. It includes drawer slides for easy opening and closing. Great value.Read other reviews all apply don't waste your time and money assembles easy but drawers don't fit and get stuck. No tolerance.Can't use itDrawer slides doesn’t work properly. The screws on the drawer slides rub each other and the drawer gets stuck. Going to send it back.The drawers stick and hard to open.This company sells garbage!!! you can't put the drawers together the screws don't stay!! I don't recommend this company to any shopper. if you want garbage then consider buying from them!!!Dresser is garbage. Nothing fits. Can't even put it together.
